Vessel Ever Given Re Floated, Suez Canal Open
It is with relief we advise clients the cargo vessel Ever Given is finally free after being grounded in the Suez Canal for 6 days.
Reports says it took about 30,000 cubic metres of sand to be dredged, 11 tugs, along with two powerful sea tugs to re-float the ship. Reports also say it could take up to three days to clear the backlog of a total of 422 vessels that were waiting in line.
