Windy Weather Causes Delays in Melbourne & Perth

Stockwell International would like to inform clients of delays in Melbourne and Perth caused by severe windy weather. 

A number of Empty Container Parks within the Port Precinct of West Melbourne and Perth’s North Fremantle have closed their depots in order to ensure operational safety. 

In Perth: 

Wharf operations:

  •  Due to high winds, DP World and Patricks Stevedores are not operating until further notice
  • Santa Vanessa is LFD tomorrow 3rd August; we may see imports falling into storage
  • GSL Ningbo, we have been advised receivals have been placed on hold from the terminal, please discuss with shipping line.
  • CMA CGM Maupassant receivals have still not been released.

Empty container depots:

  • All empty parks have been closed until further notice.

Road operations:

  • We anticipate delays to deliveries today due to weather conditions
