Current Delays at Port of Brisbane

Stockwell International would like to inform you of the current delays at Port of Brisbane which have occurred due to the Queensland Floods.

For the next 24 hours:

  • The Regional Harbour Master (RHM) has declared no movements in and out of the Port. This is being reviewed on a case-by-case basis in the first instance.
  • The Brisbane Port will begin surveying critical navigational areas, including the channel, swing basins and berth pockets, as soon as it is safe to do.
  • The Port is also working with the RHM to create an action plan for removing debris in and around waterside infrastructure

Landside Access:

  • Minor/superficial damage on a number of port roads across all precincts has been noted.
  • The Port of Brisbane’s Infrastructure Team will be assessing the damage today.
  • Currently, there are no access limitations on port roads.
  • There are no rail movements in and out of the Brisbane Multimodal Terminal due to broader rail issues. However, the BMT itself remains operational.

Given this additional update, it is expected that delays will be significant.

Stockwell International will endeavour to keep you updated with any information that we receive and will continue to work with you to ensure this delay is as pain free as possible. For further information or if you wish to speak to a member of the Stockwell’s team email [email protected]
