DP WORLD SYDNEY  PEAK TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SURCHARGE

As of Monday April 12 DP World will initiate a Peak Traffic Management Surcharge (PTC) for parks 1 & 2 in Port Botany.

DP World identified peak trucking activities around their facilities were contributing to long trucking queues and the queues subsequently being a hazard to all other traffic users in the area. The initiative to implement the PTC surcharge during business hours of 05:00 and 16:00 on weekdays is to reduce traffic during those peak times. Either side of this time frame no surcharge will apply. The initiative will mean more transport providers are selecting non-peak times to offload empties, which will alleviate traffic conditions.

The initial application of the surcharge will be on top of the VBS fee, and is $30.00 per container.

Please feel free to discuss this directly with your Stockwell’s contact for further information.
