Protected Industrial Action at DP World Australia

Dear Customers,

Stockwell International has received notice that DP World Australia’s will start Protected Industrial Action at all four terminals nationally.

At Stockwell International our priority is to service you with minimal delay. By work closely with correct authorities we will receive more information and update you on progression accordingly.

FREMANTLE – commencing Saturday 18 July

  • Stoppage of work for 1 hour, three times every day, at 01:30, 09:30 and 17:45 All terminal operations will be stopped during these hours
  • Work restrictions

MELBOURNE – commencing Tuesday 21 July

  • Stoppage of work for 2 hours, three times every day, at 05:00, 13:00, and 21:00 All terminal operations will be stopped during these hours
  • Work restrictions

BRISBANE – commencing Tuesday 21 July

  • Stoppage of work for 1 hour, three times every day, at 06:00, 14:00 and 22:00
  • During these 1-hour stoppages, vessel operations and non-automated yard operations will be stopped, and there will be no road operation in the Old Yard
  • Landside receival and delivery operations to the automated modules will continue as normal.

COVID-19 Update

Dear Customers,

As you know, the second wave of COVID-19 outbreaks in Sydney and New South Wales has resulted in the closure of the Victorian border and the lockdown of several New South Wale’s suburbs.

Stockwell International would like to reassure clients that any virus-inflicted restrictions on cross-border movements or community services will have minimal impact on the freight transport industry.

We have again initiated our Business Continuity Plan in Victoria and New South Wales as we have staff working from home again. We are in a very good position with laptops and programs available at home to continue business as usual,

Stockwells is an Essential Service, and we will be available 24 hours, 7 days a week to make sure all business’ are serviced.

All trucks are being sanitized and drivers issues the same hygiene practice protocols that our office staff are having to maintain.
