Protected Industrial Action Australia UPDATE
Dear Customers,
Stockwell International has received notice since previous advice on the 30th of July from DP World Australia about Protected Industrial Action. Now both DP World Australia and Hutchison Ports Australia have announced that protected industrial actions by the Maritime Union of Australia will ramp up from this week.
At Stockwell International our priority is to service you with minimal delay. By work closely with correct authorities we will receive more information and update you on progression accordingly.
DP WORLD: BRISBANE
- On 13 August, a work stoppage of 24 hours, commencing at 07:00 and finishing at 07:00 the following morning.
On 17 August, a work stoppage of 24 hours, commencing at 22:00 on 16th August and finishing at 22:00 on the 17th. - From 17 โ 21 August, work stoppages of 1 hour per shift, commencing at 06:00, 14:00 and 22:00. Vessel operations and non-automated yard operations will be stopped during these hours.
- Landside Receival and Delivery operations to the automated modules will continue as normal during the 1-hour stoppages and will operate on the Day Shift (07:00-15:00) during the 24-hour stoppages on 13 & 17 August.
- Work restrictions continue to apply.
SYDNEY
- From 4 August to 1 September, work stoppage for 1 hour per shift, at 05:00, 13:00, and 21:00 every day.
- All terminal operations will be stopped during these hours.
- Work restrictions continue to apply.
MELBOURNE
- From 8 August โ work stoppages for 2 hours commencing 04:00 and 4 hours commencing 12:00, every day
- All terminal operations will be stopped during these hours.
- Work restrictions continue to apply.
- FREMANTLE
- From 7 August โ daily work stoppages have been withdrawn, but work restrictions remain in place.
HUTCHISON PORTS AUSTRALIA:
Hutchison Ports Australia (HPA) has announced that there will be a 24hr stoppage at the HPA Sydney Terminal from 0600hr this Thursday, 13 August 2020.

Melbourne Air Freight Facilities UPDATE
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT MELBOURNE FACILITIES
Dear Customers,
Stockwell International has received the following notice regarding the temporary closure of facilities in Melbourne due to the stage 4 restrictions currently imposed due to Covid-19:
Qantas Freight had paused operations in our Melbourne freight terminals in response to advice from the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services.
The international terminal has been cleared by the Victorian Department of Health and has started to plan a staged introduction of staff into the facility. A small team returned on 11 Aug 2020 to clear freight already in the terminal, prioritising medical and other urgent imports.
The international terminal will be open from 06:00 to 14:00 on Wed 12 Aug 2020 for collection of cleared freight and customers will be advised by our Customer Service team if this applies to your freight.

Adverse Weather East Coast China & South Korea
Stockwell International unfortunately must advise customers of Typhoon Mekkhala currently affecting the Zhangpu and Pingtan County regions in Southeast China and Typhoon Jangmi currently affecting
the Tongyeong-si region in South Korea.
Sadly thousands of facilities have been damaged and many have been displaced from their homes.
Stockwell International has also received information that ports have been disrupted and vessels delayed due to the high winds and heavy rains.
