Auckland Heavy Rain – Closures Update
The amount of rainfall from late this morning and forecast for the afternoon has kicked off an alert from Civil Defence. Motorways are flooded and there are several vehicle accidents on the roads are already heavily impacting congestion.
Our primary reaction to these events is Safety. This means there maybe an impact on our ability to unpack and deliver safely – so causing delays with unpacks and deliveries pushing them out by 48hrs.
With regards to the collecting and delivery of Containers – please be aware at the time of this notice the ports are still operational and so are the dehire parks, but with the severe weather still expected this may change at any time. Already road closures and congestion on the roads is causing delays.
