Port of Brisbane Container Vessel Movements

Stockwell International has received information regarding the current situation at Port of Brisbane.

The Port remains closed to all ship movements due to the inherent risks from water velocity and the potential for debris including sunken objects and situations build-up in the swing basins, berth pockets and channel.

Stevedore DPWorld Brisbane has advised they will be closed from 2pm Tuesday 08/03 until 7am Wednesday 09/03.

There has been no announcement from Patricks or Hutchison stevedores thus far.

Sydney Inclement Weather Delays

Stockwell International would like to advise our clients that the entire Sydney metro is currently experiencing inclement weather delays.

  • The M5 Tunnel is closed today, as it is flooded.
  • Trucks are forced to take an alternate route for access to and from the Port Botany area, which is currently also heavily congested.
  • Heavy rain all over Sydney today is slowing everything down further.
  • High winds are expected in the Port Botany area this afternoon, from 3pm onwards.
  • As illustrated below, sections of the road is blocked due to a serious multi-vehicle truck accident.

Stockwell International will continue to work closely to ensure minimal delays are caused by these weather delays. For more information, contact [email protected]
